Our
Company
International
Polymer Corporation (IPC) was founded in the 1960’s to compound
specialty materials using Phillips Petroleum’s Ryton™
Polypheneylene Sulfide (PPS). During the company’s early years,
numerous compression, injection and coating materials using Ryton™
were formulated. Many other engineered specialty compound materials
were developed using PEEK, Nylon, PTFE and other Polymers as IPC
established itself as a global supplier of engineered specialty
materials. In the 1980’s, IPC became a Prime Contractor for
the US Department of Defense. In September 2003, IPC became a part
of Hoerbiger.
